Offshore Nomad provide Iridium Short Burst Data bidirectional communications with true global coverage. Sampling and transmission intervals can be configured in real time by the user.

Terms and Conditions for Iridium Service are:

• A one-time activation fee of 55 €. To be paid at the start of operations and to resume them when the buoy is paused.
• Monthly Subscription. To keep communications operative a monthly subscription of 27 euros is necessary to provide 600 communications per month. This allows the float to transmit more than 12 positions per day in one month as well as to activate additional configuration and search operations. Alternative subscriptions are available in case you need higher communications rates.
